2. Conservation Program Update
This is a monthly update regarding City's water conservation efforts and programs, including funding to support enforcement efforts.
3. Request by Mayor Gold to Convert the Mayor's Committee of Next Generation Leaders into a Formal City Council Committee
The Committee was established by Mayor Gold last spring and has met 10 times since then. This item would formally convert the Mayor's Committee to a City Council Committee.
4. Request from Mayor Gold to Convert the Sunshine Task Force into a Formal City Council Committee with an Expanded Mission and Expanded Appointee Process
The Sunshine Task Force was established by Vice Mayor Mirisch during his mayoral term, and has met approximately 14 times since then. This item would formally convert this Task Force to a standing City Council Committee.
5. Request by Vice-Mayor Mirisch for City Council Review of the Planning Commission's Decision Approving an Amendment to a Conditional Use Permit to Allow Jim Falk Lexus to Operate a Vehicle Service Facility at 9031 Olympic Boulevard
On December 10, 2015, the Planning Commission approved an amendment to an existing Conditional Use Permit to authorize vehicle servicing within the existing commercial building located at 9031 Olympic Boulevard to be occupied by Jim Falk Lexus in lieu of Infinity of Beverly Hills. Vice-Mayor Mirisch has requested that the City Council discuss whether there is support from a majority of the Council to call the Planning Commission's decision up for review by the City Council.
6. Hosting a Former Mayors Forum and Waiver of Associated Fees
This item transmits a proposed free public forum involving former mayors and the waiver of rental fees associated with the same.
7. Beverly Hills Municipal Code Amendments Regarding Campaign Regulations Applicable to Local Elections
Consideration of potential Municipal Code amendments regarding the conduct of certain local election campaign activities.
