ARCHITECTURAL COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING

1.	Consideration of Minutes- Consideration of Minutes of the Architectural Commission regular meeting of November 16, 2016.

This guide has been prepared as an aid so that you will be able to express you opinions briefly and clearly before the Commission and thus increase the effectiveness of your presentation. Remarks are limited to 3 minutes unless extended by the Commission.

	3.	Your Statement should include all pertinent facts within your knowledge. It is important to discuss only those matters relating to the hearing and to tie your discussion of the facts directly to the decision you wish the Commission to reach.

Written Testimony
In order to have written material included in the Architectural Commissioner’s mailed Agenda Packet, 10 copies of the material must be delivered to the Planning office no later than 8 calendar days before the date of the Architectural Commission Hearing. Written material (10 copies) that is presented to the Architectural Commission after this date and up to 1:00 p.m. the day of the Architectural Commission Hearing, will be included in the Commissioners’ Agenda folder, but may not be reviewed by individual Commissioners due to the amount of material that the Commissioners have to review for the Agenda.

WALDORF ASTORIA (PL1630568)  9850 Wilshire Boulevard Request for approval of a new gateway statement located at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard.  The City Council previously certified a Final Environmental Impact Report for the project on April 21, 2008 pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, and no further environmental review is required at this time.

VICEROY L’ERMITAGE HOTEL (PL1630191)  9291 Burton Way Request for approval of sign accommodations to allow business identification signage and to allow awning signage to exceed seven inches (7”) in height in a multi-family residential zone.  The Commission will also consider adoption of a Categorical Exemption, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.

4.	WELLTOWER (PL1630472)  9675 Brighton Way Request for approval of two building identification signs.  The Commission will also consider adoption of a Categorical Exemption, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.

5.	WELLTOWER (PL1630477)  416 North Bedford Drive Request for approval of a building identification sign.  The Commission will also consider adoption of a Categorical Exemption, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.

6.	WELLTOWER (PL1630478)  435 North Bedford Drive  Request for approval of a building identification sign.  The Commission will also consider adoption of a Categorical Exemption, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.

7.	WELLTOWER (PL1630475)  436 North Bedford Drive Request for approval of a building identification sign.  The Commission will also consider adoption of a Categorical Exemption, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.

8.	INFINITI SERVICE (PL1630460)  194 North Robertson Boulevard Request for approval of a façade remodel, landscaping, and business identification signage.  The Commission will also consider adoption of a Categorical Exemption, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.

325 NORTH MAPLE DRIVE (PL1630461)  325 North Maple Drive Request for approval of a sign program, which includes building identification signage, a projecting sign, a sign accommodation to allow multiple parking identification signs, and a sign accommodation to allow two ground signs, for an existing commercial building.  The Planning Commission previously adopted a Categorical Exemption for the project on August 15, 2015 pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act; no further environmental review is required at this time.

250-260 NORTH CANON DRIVE (PL1630486)  250-260 North Canon Drive Request for approval of a new three-story commercial building and landscaping.  The Planning Commission previously adopted a Categorical Exemption for the project on December 8, 2016 pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act; no further environmental review is required at this time.
