Transmits the interview panel’s appointment recommendations for the Public Works Commission.
2. Commission Reappointments (Fine Art, Human Relations, Planning, and Traffic and Parking Commissions)
The first terms of Fine Art Commissioners Michael Smooke and Zale Richard Rubins, Human Relations Commissioner Annette Saleh, Planning Commissioner Lori Greene Gordon and Traffic and Parking Commissioner David Seidel are ending on June 30, 2017. They are eligible for reappointment to a second term of up to four years each and have submitted letters of interest to be reappointed.

Following the study session discussion regarding proposed public outreach for consideration of uses for the City-owned property on Foothill Road on August 16, 2016, this action would direct staff to return the deposit to Angelo Gordon Real Estate, Inc. and conclude the Agreement.

9. Large Landscape Water Evaluations
The Public Works Department will be launching a new large landscape water evaluation program to help our residential customers use water efficiently.
10. Recruitment Process for the 2017 Team Beverly Hills – Resident Educational Program
Provides information regarding the recruitment process and dates during May-June 2017 and the program overview for the 2017-18 Team Beverly Hills program.
11. AIDS/LifeCycle Bike Ride Through Beverly Hills
Provides information regarding the AIDS/LifeCycle Bike Ride that will travel through Beverly Hills (to West Hollywood) on Saturday, June 10 from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will have the same logistics and route as occurred with last year’s event.
12. Special City Event on May 12, 2017
The City will host health and wellness expert Dr. Deepak Chopra as part of the Mayor’s S.O.U.L. (Seek Original Unique Learning) initiative. The event will be held on the Crescent-side of City Hall. Â
