AUDIENCE COMMENTS.  Any person wishing to address the City Council on any matter not on the agenda may do so at this time.  However, the State open meetings law (Government Code Section 54950 et seq.) prohibits the City Council from providing a detailed response or acting upon any item not contained on the agenda posted 72 hours before a regular meeting and 24 hours before a special meeting.  If you wish to address the City Council at this time, please complete a speaker’s card and give it to the City Clerk prior to the commencement of the meeting.  Please use the microphone provided, clearly stating your name for the official record and courteously limiting your remarks to three (3) minutes so others may have the opportunity to speak as well.

The City Council Liaisons and Recreation and Parks Commission have provided recommendations regarding the continued operation of the Beverly Hills Community Dog Park pertaining to the hours of operation, restricting park access, the permit process, and Ranger presence.

This item fulfills the requirement per the City’s Labor Negotiations Ordinance to conduct an initial public meeting regarding potential amendments to the Memoranda of Understanding with the Police Officers’ Association and Safety Support Association.

3. Recommendation by Fine Art Commission City Council Liaisons Bosse and Mirisch to Accept Donation by Mark Loucheim of Fletcher Benton Art PieceFolded G
The City Council Fine Art liaisons and the Fine Art Commission recommend the acceptance of Folded G by artist Fletcher Benton.  The donation is offered by the Loucheim family.  The family has agreed to pay for the costs to restore, relocate, install the piece and to create a base for the piece.

4. Recommendation by Fine Art Commission City Council Liaisons Bosse and Mirisch to Accept Loan of Jose Davila Sense of Place
The Sense of Place art piece is part of the Pacific Standard Time art project, sponsored by the Getty.  The City is being asked to host one of the 40 pieces that comprise Sense of Place.  The piece would be on exhibit for up to 5 months in early 2018.  There would be no cost to the City to host this piece.
