3. Your Statement should include all pertinent facts within your knowledge. It is important to discuss only those matters relating to the hearing and to tie your discussion of the facts directly to the decision you wish the Commission to reach.
Written Testimony
In order to have written material included in the Health and Safety Commissioner's mailed Agenda Packet,
10 copies of the material must be delivered to the Emergency Management office no later than 11 calendar days before the date of the Health and Safety Commission Hearing.
Written material (
10 copies) that is presented to the Health and Safety Commission after this date and up to 1:00 p.m. the day of the Health and Safety Commission Hearing, will be included in the Commissioners’ Agenda folder, but may not be reviewed by individual Commissioners due to the amount of material that the Commissioners have to review for the Agenda.

Members of the public may address the Commission regarding any items not on the Agenda that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Commission. By State law, the Commission may not discuss or vote on items not on the Agenda. |

Health and Safety Recognition Program - Stop the Bleed Program |

The Health and Safety Recognition Program continues to honor those individuals, businesses, or groups who have demonstrated leadership in the field of health and safety issues or contributed to the mission of the Health and Safety Commission. |

A brief video will be shown of a news report on the medical dangers of marijuana edibles. |

Staff will update the Commission on a variety of smoking related issues including an update on the Proposition 56 Grant Funding. Attachments included: City of Beverly Hills Press Release and Beverly Press article. |

Each month, the Health and Safety Commission will hear topics related to Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness. Meena Janmohamed, Management Analyst, will provide a brief presentation. |
