4. Proposed Ordinance in Response to Senate Bill 946, the Safe Sidewalk Vending Act
On January 1, 2019, state law authorizes local jurisdictions to adopt requirements for the public safety regulating any type of vending, including the time, place and manner of vending from a vehicle upon a sidewalk. This item will provide information on the state law and seek input from the City Council on a proposed ordinance to regulate sidewalk vending.

5. Proposed Resolution in Response to Senate Bill 1000, Transportation Electrification: Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
SB No. 1000 prohibits a city from restricting which types of EV's may access an EV charging station approved for passenger vehicles that both is publicly accessible and the construction of which was funded, at least in part, by the state or through moneys collected from ratepayers. The City's current EV charging policy is reserved for Battery-Only Electric Vehicles (BOEVs). The City will make the necessary changes for implementation.

This assessment provides a thorough evaluation to the areas north of Sunset Boulevard, within the City of Beverly Hills, that could potentially be affected by wildland fires.

8. Submetering Ordinance
This report provides City Council with a summary of a proposal to amend the Beverly Hills Municipal Code to require individual meters for each unit of a new Multi-Family Residential project with six or fewer residential units and requires a Master Meter and submeters for each unit for each unit for new Multi-Family Residential projects with seven units or more.
