WE CREATE COMMUNITY

Beverly Hills Gratitude Practice – What are you grateful for about living in Beverly Hills and this amazing community we share? Put your gratitude statement on an 8½ x 11 piece of paper and display it in your window and/or share an image or short video of your gratitude statement.

ART IS LIFE

The Great Beverly Hills Rainbow Hunt – Make a rainbow in chalk on your walk or on a 8½ x 11 piece of paper and put it in your window for kids and families to find on their nature walks and share an image or video of your rainbow or any rainbows you find.

WEEK 2

WE CREATE COMMUNITY

Thank Your Mail Carrier – Leave a thank you sticky note on your mailbox for your mail carrier or delivery folks and take a picture of you and your note so we can share it with the world!

ART IS LIFE

Chalk the Walk – Share a beautiful chalk drawing on the sidewalk outside your residence or in your window to show your love and support for your community and neighbors!

WEEK 3

WE CREATE COMMUNITY

Beverly Hills Blue – Join City Hall and neighboring communities for the National Celebration of Nurses May 6-13 by displaying blue lights on your front doorstep or in a window. This is a celebration of our first responders, health care professionals and essential workers. Take a photo and we will share pictures of our City in blue!!

ART IS LIFE

Quarantine Karaoke – Just sing! We know you have a favorite artist or band that moves you! We encourage residents to film themselves singing their favorite song and sharing the video, or send it to us to share.

WEEK 4

WE CREATE COMMUNITY

Kindness Cards - Seniors at our assisted living residences are unable to have visitors. We ask residents to make cards with uplifting messages and inspiring photos that can be dropped off to our rangers at City Hall, Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or email a note and your picture to beverlyhillsbeautiful@beverlyhills.org and we will deliver your kindness messages to our seniors.

ART IS LIFE

Kindness Rocks – Paint a small rock with a kind message and take it to our "Kindness Rocks" Garden at Roxbury Park and watch our garden grow! Take a picture with your rock or at the rock garden and share it with us.

WEEK 5

WE CREATE COMMUNITY

Essential Workers Photo Collage - Share a thank you photo or decorated heart recognizing City public servants (police officers, firefighters, public works, librarians, park rangers & recreation staff, etc.). Community Services will deliver your heartfelt gratitude to respective City departments.

ART IS LIFE

Living Art Beverly Hills Style – Recreate a piece of art from the Beverly Hills Fine Arts collection  using ordinary household items! Recreate one of the City’s Public Art pieces, paintings, sculptures, or any other artwork - explore your creativity, take a photo of your artistic creation and share it with us!

WEEK 6

WE CREATE COMMUNITY

Beverly Hills Beautiful Photo Walk - Take a picture of beautiful Beverly Hills while on your walk and share your favorite nature spaces and places. Share your photo with us so we can share your inspiration with others.

ART IS LIFE

Front Door Celebrations – Share your front door decorations celebrating graduations, birthdays, gratitude, beauty, hope, love and more! Take a picture and share with us so we can pass on the thoughtfulness.
