2010 Roads & Bridges/Asphalt Recycling and Reclaiming Association Recycling Award from Roads & Bridges
A 2010 Street Resurfacing Project which used recyled materials
"Best of the Best" 2009 Neighborhood/Community Life Award from the California Park & Recreation Society
The City's inaugural Woofstock 90210 event, which attracted more than 3,000 animal lovers.

2011 Tree City USA Award from the Arbor Day Foundation - 26 Years in a Row
The City of Beverly Hills has been named a Tree City USA for the 26th straight year. The designation from the Arbor Day Foundation indicates that the City of Beverly Hills has a recognized tree management plan that includes a tree board or department, a tree care ordinance, a community forestry program with an annual budget of at least $2 per capita and an Arbor Day observance.
2007 Honorable Mention in City Water Taste Test from the US Conference of Mayors
Beverly Hills was one of ten cities receiving honorable mention in the U.S. Conference of Mayors drinking water taste test, out of 93 submissions. The honorees were selected by a panel of mayors attending the group's annual conference.
