Eliot Finkel - City Treasurer of BeverlyHills

Eliot M. Finkel is the founder of Eliot Finkel Investment Counsel, LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser which opened for business in 1974 and moved to Beverly Hills in 1981. The firm, a fee-based independent investment adviser, manages securities portfolios for a wide variety of clients.

Eliot holds Master of Science degrees in Quantitative Business Analysis (Business Administration) and Operations Research (Engineering) from the University of Southern California as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Chicago where he also studied graduate Economics.

Eliot is a graduate of Team Beverly Hills and served on the Public Works Commission from 1998 to 2005.

Eliot married Maxine Egerman, a real-estate broker, in 1982. His son, Peter, member of Eliot's investment counseling firm since 2003, earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School.  Maxine, Peter and daughter Sydney are all graduates of Beverly Hills High School.
