The Charitable Solicitations Commission, a five-member Commission appointed by the City Council, meets at 10:30 am on the second Wednesday of each month to review applications for charitable solicitations in the City of Beverly Hills, and to encourage these fundraising efforts to be run in a manner that will provide the most benefit to the charitable cause being served. The Chief of Police, as Director of Public Welfare, serves as advisor to the commission.
