FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT (FSA)

HOW FSA WORKS

The City’s FSA is administered through Conexis. It allows employees to pay for qualified expenses using pre-tax dollars. There is a Medical FSA and a Dependent Care FSA. Full-time employees can annually deduct up to $2,500 for Medical FSA plus up to $5,000 for Dependent Care FSA to a maximum $7,500. FSA provides employees with an option to lower their taxable income.
