The List of Local Master Architects is an official list maintained by the City of Beverly Hills that includes those individuals and firms that are now known to have contributed to creating the built environment in Beverly Hills. This list is used to assist in the identification and evaluation of properties throughout the city for historical significance.
Historic Preservation Ordinance
The City's historic preservation ordinance was developed by the Planning Commission over the course of three meetings. The City Council then conducted a first and second reading of the ordinance before adopting it on January 24, 2012.
