Parking Enforcement

The goal of the Parking Enforcement Division is to promote quality of life in the City through effective enforcement of parking laws and regulations that provide for the safe and efficient flow of traffic, emergency access and turnover of parking spaces in both residential and commercial areas.  Parking enforcement complies with the California Vehicle Code and the Beverly Hills Municipal Code of regulations such as:

 Preferential parking zones

 Overnight parking prohibition

 Tour bus loading/staging zones

 Parking meters

Enforcement of disabled person parking placard abuse

For parking enforcement assistance with an abandoned vehicle, a vehicle blocking a driveway, or an illegally parked vehicle, call (310) 550-4875 to request parking enforcement 24 hours daily.  When calling, be prepared to provide information regarding the vehicle's license plate number, make, color, and the vehicle's exact location.

In addition, the Parking Enforcement Division supports Administrative Review investigations of contested parking citations and manages procedures for providing the City's Hearing Examiner services.

Parking enforcement officers are available to provide information on points of interest, answer questions about the community and play an essential role in maintaining parking availability and community safety.
