Businesses May Opt to be Smoke-Free

In early 2014, drugstore chain CVS Caremark, announced that it would no longer sell tobacco products in stores by October 1, 2014. This is the first chain of national pharmacies to stop selling the product. The Beverly Hills City Council encourages other businesses to do the same by opting to be smoke-free and not sell tobacco products and e-cigarettes at their places of business. 

 Restrictions on Sales of Flavored Tobacco Products

Update (02/27/2018): The Health and Safety Commission has unanimously recommended City Council adoption of a draft ordinance that would restrict the sale of flavored tobacco products in Beverly Hills.  

Update (01/23/2018): The Health and Safety Commission has unanimously expressed support for the development of a policy that could restrict flavored tobacco product sales in Beverly Hills.

Current Businesses
