Exploring Strengthening and Expanding Current City Smoking Regulations

Beverly Hills' Smoking Regulations May Include Additional Areas

90210_Smoking_MUH

The Beverly Hills City Council has tasked the Health and Safety Commission with exploring areas to strengthen and expand the City's smoking regulations. On December 19, 2016, City staff presented the Health and Safety Commission additional information and facilitated an initial discussion on this topic. The areas under discussion include hotels, open air dining, sidewalks, entry/exit ways, public events, and outdoor work sites.

Any new or revised policies that regulate smoking in these areas would expand upon current legislation.
