Commercial properties that have been damaged during recent incidents are temporarily allowed to repair or board-up broken glass without building permits or public right-of way use permits. Repairs are limited to only glass replacement where window frames or doors will not be altered. All changes to storefront will require permits and can temporarily secure the property with boards until permitted. When working on the sidewalk, pedestrian safety and a 36-inch walkway must be maintained at all times. View More information.
