Dates open for wedding ceremony only (without reception) 8 months in advance for Beverly Hills residents and 6 months in advance for non-residents.
Greystone does not have an exclusive caterer list. Our Frequent Caterers have worked at the property multiple times and no fee is charged. Approved Caterers have worked here at least once but not as often as the Frequent Caterers. You (the client) are charged a $1000 refundable deposit to use an Approved Caterer. We also have an approval process if you would like to use another licensed caterer, please contact the Greystone Venue Coordinator for more details.
Greystone is the location for your event. You will work with outside vendors for rentals (tables, chairs, etc.), catering, and other event needs. A coordinator is required for weddings. Greystone staff can provide an estimate for your event including all fees for park rangers, maintenance, refundable damage deposit, and other fees. Depending on the scope of your event, valet parking service, fire marshal, and/or security may be required. Please see our rates page for more details.
In addition to the rental fee paid to Greystone, we require liability insurance as outlined above, and a public assembly permit is required from the Beverly Hills Fire Department. Other permits may be required if you have a tent, generators, etc.
Greystone is a city park and historic location, and we have rules that all rental events must follow for the safety of guests and the property. Full rules & regulations are provided in the Greystone Venue Brochure and event application, but here is an overview:
- Smoking, including vaping and e-cigarettes, is not allowed on any part of the property
- Candles or other flames are not allowed
- Service animals are the only animals permitted on the grounds of Greystone
- All items must be freestanding. No decorations, lights, or other items may be attached to the buildings or trees
