LA CIENEGA OUTDOOR FITNESS PAVILION

OUR fitness equipment has reopened!

*Please review the L.A. County Guidelines here.
NOTE: not to exceed 3 at one time
The fitness pavilion is free and open to the public from 6 a.m. - dusk.

In February 2013 The City of Beverly Hills' Recreation & Parks Commission, together with the Community Services Department, proudly unveiled its new outdoor fitness pavilion.

Please check out this use manual for the equipment, published by equipment manufacturer Greenfields. It includes instructions for each machine plus handy tips on how to work your upper body, lower body and core and maximize your cardio workout.

The equipment can be used by anyone from teenagers to seniors, no matter their level of fitness. All of the equipment utilizes the users’ own body weight for resistance and therefore does not require electricity. Greenfields has installed its rugged, high-quality equipment across the U.S. and Canada. The company’s motto, “Promoting Wellness and Fighting Obesity One Community at a Time,” fits perfectly with Beverly Hills’ Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) resolutions.

In the future City staff plans to coordinate classes and workouts designed for use with the equipment.

Free, two-hour parking is available at the La Cienega Tennis Center, located at 325 S. La Cienega Boulevard. For more information on the rest of the facilities at La Cienega Park, click here.
