Providing centralized technical service to more than 1,000 City employees working in some 20 different departments and divisions, the IT Department acts as a consultant for all of the City’s technological needs. IT staff members supply desktop, network, applications and systems management services throughout the City and work with departments to develop processes that are consistent and cost-effective.  The IT Department includes the Cable Television office.

Under the guidance of the IT Department, the City’s website undergoes continual enhancements, making it a useful resource for residents, businesses, employees and visitors. The website offers easy access to important City information, along with the ability to use some services remotely, such as class registration, video on demand and payment of parking citations.
