Guy Dill (1946- )
Fine Art Ordinance Obligation of 8767 Wilshire Blvd.
Dill constructs architectonic works in stone, wood, metal, marble and concrete, using circles or columns to anchor his abstract forms. He likes to overlap the materials, using them in complex patterns. The circle and column reappear in different combinations and materials, usually with simple, natural finishes. He has sculptures in the collections of the Guggenheim and MOMA in New York and MOCA, here in Los Angeles.
Fun Fact: Dill has four public art works in Beverly Hills.
