Projector is the illusion of the extension of the barrel-vaulted ceiling into an urban landscape with stylized figures in motion. A painter and printmaker, Terry Schoonhoven became a well-known muralist after co-founding the Los Angeles Fine Arts Squad in 1969.
Fun Fact: Schoonhoven painted over 40 murals during his career, usually as corporate commissions and public art projects under civic percent-for-art programs like the one that made this piece possible.
