A milestone in the development of the commercial triangle, the Beverly Professional Building was completed in 1926 and opened in 1927. It was developed by Guy K. Harrison and George A. Cordingly, who engaged Beverly Hills architect Harry E. Werner to design, and Beverly Hills contractors Newman and Newman to construct, the building.
