The Community Development personnel that oversee long range planning are responsible for creating plans, drafting policy and coordinating the implementation of civic projects that relate to a “big picture” vision of the City’s future. 

The primary goal of long range planning is to enhance the quality of life for all Beverly Hills residents and ensure an efficient use of City resources.
