Smoke detectors should be placed outside each sleeping area and on every level of the home, including the basement. On floors without bedrooms, detectors should be installed in or near living areas such as dens, living rooms, or family rooms.

As of February 1, 2014, the Beverly Hills Police Department will no longer provide livescan or ink fingerprinting services to the general public. New City Permit Applicants will have to contact the listed locations for live scan

FAQ - Do I need a permit to have live music at my home?

No, you do not require a permit for live music. The City has a Noise Ordinance in effect after 10 p.m. (BHMunicipal Code- 5-1-201). There is no permit which supersedes the Noise Ordinance.
