This guide has been prepared as an aid so that you will be able to express you opinions briefly and clearly before the Commission and thus increase the effectiveness of your presentation. Remarks are limited to 3 minutes unless extended by the Chair.

3. Your Statement should include all pertinent facts within your knowledge. It is important to discuss only those matters relating to the hearing and to tie your discussion of the facts directly to the decision you wish the Commission to reach.

Written Testimony
In order to have written material included in the Cultural Heritage Commissioner’s mailed Agenda Packet, 10 copies of the material must be delivered to the Planning office no later than 8 calendar days before the date of the Hearing.
Written material that is presented after this date and up to 1:00 p.m. on the day of the Hearing will be included in the Commissioners’ Agenda folders, but may not be reviewed by individual Commissioners due to the amount of material that the Commissioners have to review for the Agenda.

910 NORTH BEDFORD DRIVE  Certificate of Appropriateness (PL1820480) - Certificate of Appropriateness for the after-the-fact tree replacement proposal for character-defining trees at the subject site.  Pursuant to the provisions set forth in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Cultural Heritage Commission will also consider adoption of a Categorical Exemption for this project.

5.	2019 CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE REVIEW - Annual review of the Cultural Heritage Commission’s Conflict of Interest Code.

6.	CONSIDERATION FOR INCREASING THE FREQUENCY OF THE HEARING DATES FOR THE CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSION - At the request of the Chair of the Cultural Heritage Commission, the frequency of the hearing dates for the Commission is for consideration from quarterly to every other month.

7.	LANDMARK STANDARDS FOR POTENTIAL MULTI-FAMILY HISTORIC DISTRICTS - At the request of the Chair of the Cultural Heritage Commission, the Commission will discuss recommendations for potential modification to the standards for the creation of multi-family historic districts in the City.
