Comments will be read into the record, with a maximum allowance of 3 minutes per individual comment, subject to the Commission’s discretion. Written comments will be allowed with a maximum of 350 words, which corresponds to approximately 3 minutes of speaking time.

It is recommended that public written comments be submitted prior to the posted meeting date/time. Public comments will also be taken during the meeting when the topic is being reviewed by the Commission.

ZONE TEXT AMENDMENT TO CREATE A MIXED USE OVERLAY ZONE FOR CERTAIN COMMERCIALLY ZONED AREAS A draft ordinance of the City of Beverly Hills to create a mixed use overlay zone (MU) in certain commercially zoned areas of the City. The overlay zone would permit mixed use development, consisting of commercial and residential uses within one structure, upon meeting certain standards and receiving approval. Pursuant to the provisions set forth in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Planning Commission will also consider recommending a draft Initial Study/Negative Declaration for adoption by the City Council (Timothea Tway, Senior Planner) |
