It is recommended that written public comments be submitted to the Planning Commission Recording Secretary by 11:30 AM on the meeting date.  Public comments will also be taken during the meeting when the topic is being reviewed by the Planning Commission.  Written comments should identify the Agenda Item number or topic in the subject line of the email.

In order to be read at the meeting, written comments will be allowed with a maximum of 350 words, which corresponds to approximately three (3) minutes of speaking time.  If a comment is received after the agenda item is heard, it will not be a part of the record. 

The Commission may act on any item listed on the agenda.

RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BEVERLY HILLS CONTINUING TO AUTHORIZE PUBLIC MEETINGS TO BE HELD VIA TELECONFERENCING PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54953(e) AND MAKING FINDINGS AND DETERMINATIONS REGARDING THE SAME - Recent legislation was adopted allowing the Planning Commission to continue virtual meetings during the COVID-19 declared emergency subject to certain conditions, and the proposed resolution implements the necessary requirements.

3. 149-159 SOUTH MAPLE DRIVE  Development Plan Review, Density Bonus, and R-4 Permit (PL2100133) - A request for a Development Plan Review to construct a six story, 29-unit, multi-family residential building with 72 underground parking spaces, a Density Bonus permit to allow a 50% density bonus in addition to certain incentives/concessions from development standards to provide six affordable housing units, and two R-4 Permits to allow a rooftop bathroom facility and walkway greater than five feet in width within a front yard.  Pursuant to the provisions set forth in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Planning Commission will also consider finding the project exempt from further review under CEQA.
