Pursuant to Government Code Section 54953, members of the Beverly Hills Architectural Commission and staff may participate in this meeting in person or via a teleconference.  Members of the public may participate in the meeting by attending in-person or telephonically; and may view the meeting through live webcast or BHTV Channel 10 on Spectrum Cable.

Anyone who participates at the meeting and/or enters the City Council Chamber or Commission meeting room is subject to having their image and/or voice displayed.  These recordings will remain publicly accessible in perpetuity.

It is recommended that written public comments be submitted to the Architectural Commission Recording Secretary by 11:30 AM on the meeting date.  Public comments will also be taken during the meeting when the topic is being reviewed by the Cultural Heritage Commission.  Written comments should identify the Agenda Item number or topic in the subject line of the email. 

In order to be read at the meeting, written comments will be allowed with a maximum of 350 words, which corresponds to approximately three (3) minutes of speaking time.  If a comment is received after the agenda item is heard, it will not be a part of the record. 

The Commission may act on any item listed on the agenda.

RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BEVERLY HILLS CONTINUING TO AUTHORIZE PUBLIC MEETINGS TO BE HELD VIA TELECONFERENCING PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54953(e) AND MAKING FINDINGS AND DETERMINATIONS REGARDING THE SAME - Recent legislation was adopted allowing the Architectural Commission to continue virtual meetings during the COVID-19 declared emergency subject to certain conditions and the proposed resolution implements the necessary requirements.

Pursuant to the provisions set forth in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Architectural Commission will also consider finding the project exempt from further review under CEQA.

Pursuant to the provisions set forth in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Architectural Commission will also consider finding the project exempt from further review under CEQA.

5. 401 NORTH RODEO DRIVE  Bulgari (PL2200362) - Request for approval for an architectural review to allow the construction of a new three-story building with an outdoor rooftop area, and a Sign Accommodation for multiple Business Identification Signs. The Planning Commission previously adopted a Categorical Exemption for the project on December 10, 2020, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act; and no further environmental review is required at this time.
