In-Person: Submit a Speaker Card to the Recording Secretary at the meeting

It is recommended that written public comments be submitted to the Public Works Commission Recording Secretary by 5:00 PM one day prior to the meeting date.  Public comments will also be taken during the meeting when the topic is being reviewed by the Public Works Commission.  Written comments should identify the Agenda Item number or topic in the subject line of the email. 

In order to be read at the meeting, written comments will be allowed with a maximum of 350 words, which corresponds to approximately three (3) minutes of speaking time.  If a comment is received after the agenda item is heard, it will not be a part of the record. 

The Commission may act on any item listed on the agenda.

7. Water Efficiency Update

Comment: Staff recommends Public Works Commission recommend to the City    Council additional drought measures in support of the current State Drought    Emergency that include:   • Continuing the Stage C Drought Emergency as approved by City Council on    February 8, 2022 (Attachment 1).   • Maintaining a 2-day a week watering schedule instead of moving to 3-day a week    watering schedule on June 1, as noted in the City’s Stage C, Resolution No. 17-R-   13135 (Attachment 2).  Note: The State regulations allows watering to ensure the    health of trees and other perennial non-turf plantings.      • Restricting the use of potable water for outdoor irrigation, including the use of a    hose, between 9 am to 6 pm.
