Election Day is Tuesday June 7 Beverly Hills was incorporated in 1914 and is organized with a five-member City Council. City Council members, elected at large, serve four-year overlapping terms, with municipal elections held every other year. This year, voters will turn out on Tuesday June 7th to elect three candidates to the Beverly Hills City Council along with position of City Treasurer. Community-sponsored election forums introduce city council candidates to the residents of Beverly Hills and feature panel discussions, debates and Q&A from audience members. |

May 3 at 6 pm Beverly Hills View provides the community with current information and a variety of perspectives on public affairs. Residents are encouraged to tune in and be engaged from a variety of hosts and guests about all aspects of local events, influential people and community programs.

May 9 at 7 pm The Honorable Mayor Lili Bosse is currently serving her third term as Mayor. Her goal has always been to ensure the values of inclusion and diversity, and create a sense of community in our world class city. As a part of a new initiative, Mayor Bosse welcomes the public to attend, join in and be heard in her new monthly series, LIVE with LILI. In this town-hall style meeting the Beverly Hills community will have the opportunity to share opinions on timely issues and topics directly with the Mayor. |
Over the Rainbow: The Science of Oz |

May 16 at 3:30 pm L. Frank Baum's book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was first published in 1900 and was a hit from the get-go. The Library of Congress declared it "America's greatest and best-loved homegrown fairytale." While the story was first adapted for Broadway in 1903 and for film in 1910, it is probably the 1939 film starting Judy Garland that most people think of when one mentions The Wizard of Oz. In this episode of STEM in 30, we'll explore some of the more fanciful parts of the story and dive deep into tornadoes, flying witches, hot air balloons and what about those flying monkeys? |

Wednesday and her service dog, Woof, are the best detectives in the whole world, or at least their neighborhood. This new series from Sherri WInston invites readers to think like a detective and follow these enjoyable characters on a fun mystery. Sherri Winston spent most of her childhood creating stories and reading books. She currently lives in Florida with her two daughters, multiple cats, two turtles, and a happy little doggy. |

May 12 at 7:30 pm This episode of “THEATER: All the Moving Parts", Actor Patrick Page discusses the role of the villain with Host Patrick Pacheco. Who doesn’t love a good villain, and Page plays them the best, including Hades in the musical “Hadestown”, for which he was nominated for a Tony. In this conversation, Page delves deep into why he loves to play Shakespearian villainous characters from Claudius in “Hamlet” to Shylock in “Merchant of Venice” and Lago in “Othello”. |
