Breast Cancer Awareness Month |

October 10 at 3:30 pm In a special edition of Simply Science, look at the science behind cancer and advances in diagnosis. Field reports include a visit to the Red Door Community, a nonprofit cancer support organization helping everyone and anyone impacted by cancer and a breast cancer survivor shares her personal journey. In an encore presentation from the BH Forum Series, hear from leading cancer expert Dr. Susan Love as she shares insight into the science of research, screening, treatments and the Love Research Army.

The business and greater community of Beverly Hills gathered for an evening reception followed by the Mayor's formal address. |

But, what is an understudy? And what are the differences among the related terms of understudy, swing, and standby in a show? In this episode, host Patrick Pacheco talks with actor Cameron Adams who is an ensemble member of the new musical “Mrs. Doubtfire” but, who as an understudy, may step at a moment’s notice into the leading role. |

In this town-hall style meeting the Beverly Hills community will have the opportunity to share opinions on timely issues and topics directly with the Mayor. |

Monday - Friday, 11 am - Noon Youth classes continue on BHTV10 everyday with dance, cheer, piano, ballet and tap dance. Join in with all your favorite camp instructors like Jazz, Caroline and Oksana along with the energetic team from Cheer 4U Athletics. ZEN of the Week at Greystone Everyone is invited to relax on Fridays from 7 to 11 am and experience the soothing sounds and low impact exercises featuring yoga with Ameeta Nanji and meditation & Qigong with Samuel Barnes. |

Saturday & Sunday Oct. 15 & 16 Four garden blocks in the center of the city will be brimming with 325 artists from throughout California, the Southwest and the rest of the country. All of the fine arts and crafts are original, ranging from the traditional to the very contemporary, and are represented by the artists themselves. The free show features artists from around the nation, who showcase their work in painting, sculpture, watercolor, photography, mixed media, ceramics, jewelry, drawings and printmaking. A Wine and Beer Garden, live music, demonstrating artists, children's activities, gourmet food trucks and several community exhibits can be found as well.
