STRAWS Film Screening

The issue of plastic pollution and its harms to our oceans have become a hot conversation topic in the recent months. The City of Beverly Hills and the Crayon Collection, a 501c3 non-profit, are co-hosting an event showcasing the powerful documentary, STRAWS, that not only sheds light on this issue for curious minds, but provides answers to the many questions that many have about straws and their affect on the environment.

This free event will be taking place on September 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Beverly Hills City Hall in the Municipal Gallery. The film will begin at 7:00 p.m. after a short social hour with food available from the Green Food Truck, and will be followed up by a Q and A with a special guest panel of experts on the issues of waste, ocean pollution, and sustainability in the modern day.

To RSVP to attend, please click here to visit the Eventbrite page. Early arrival is highly encouraged as spaces are limited.
