ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Metro Section 1 – Wilshire/La Cienega Station will begin the full closure of Wilshire Blvd between La Cienega and San Vicente starting the weekend of April 28, 2023 on Fridays 8pm to Monday 7am over the next 17 weekends until tentatively September 11, 2023, excluding holidays. Metro bus stops may be relocated or lines could be impacted. For information changes to Metro service, please call 323.GoMetro. Passengers are encouraged to use the Transit App to plan their travels.
- Metro is now accepting applications for high school students interested in being part of the 2024 Metro Youth Council and upcoming Metro Youth Summit on September 23, 2023. The goal of the Metro Youth Council is to develop the capacity of young people between 14 to 17 years old and to engage in Metro’s plans, projects, programs, and initiatives. - The City conducted a Transit Feasibility Study to understand how the City and its regional partners are meeting today’s mobility needs, what changes can be expected moving forward in the future, and what a context-appropriate and fiscally responsible solution to meeting those challenges could look like. trolley Service
Free Weekend Trolley Service
The City of Beverly Hills offers free trolley service between Civic Center and Rodeo Drive every Saturday and Sunday between 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., except holidays*. This is not a narrated tour.
Departures from Civic Center Trolley Stop: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., every hour. The Civic Center Trolley Stop is located on the southeast corner of Civic Center Drive and Third Street. On Sundays, the Civic Center Trolley Stop is located in front of the Beverly Hills Courthouse at 9355 Burton Way.
Departures from Rodeo/Dayton Trolley Stop: 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., every half hour. The Rodeo/Dayton Trolley Stop is located on the southeast corner of Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way (adjacent to Two Rodeo shopping plaza).

*Trolley service is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Trolley service subject to change or closure at any time without prior notice due to local circumstances or special events.
REGIONAL Bus Transit (mETRO, LADOT, AVTA)
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA or Metro) provides several Local and Rapid bus lines through Beverly Hills. Additional bus service is provided by the Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA) and the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT). Senior and Disabled Transit Services
The City of Beverly Hills provides free Dial-A-Ride shuttle service and subsidized transportation programs to senior and disabled residents. Visit www.beverlyhills.org/seniortransit for more information.
Rail Transit
Rail transit is coming soon to Beverly Hills. Metro is currently building the Purple Line Extension subway project, which will have two stations in Beverly Hills at Wilshire/La Cienega (anticipated completion in 2024) and Wilshire/Rodeo (anticipated completion in 2025).
