Beverly Hills Police Makes Several Arrests at Sideshow

Beverly Hills, Calif. – On February 18, 2022, at 11:29 PM, the Beverly Hills Police Department received reports of a large-scale sideshow take over at the Canon Drive / Lomitas Avenue intersection.

It was reported that at least 100 vehicles were blocking all six points of the intersection and at least 150 spectators were on foot. Numerous vehicles engaged in reckless driving maneuvers at the intersection while spectators lit large-scale fireworks.

After forming a safe tactical plan, BHPD officers convoyed into the center of the incident causing all vehicles and spectators to flee immediately. Officers stopped several vehicles which led to the arrest of multiple suspects.

BHPD does not tolerate illegal vehicular events, such as this, and will respond in force to uphold the safety and security of the community.
