Beverly Hills' Smoking Regulations to Include Public Right of Way and 20ft from Outdoor Dining

At the February 21, 2017 meeting, the Beverly Hill City Council voted to expand smoking regulations. Starting May 5, 2017, smoking will be prohibited within 20 feet of open air dining areas, except while actively passing by (previously the distance was 5 feet); and in the public right-of-way, which includes public sidewalks, alleyways and streets, except while passing by.
