Beverly Hills turns Cancelled Charity Event into Dinner for Local Homeless
Farmers’ Market, Top Restaurants and Local Farmers Donate Meals to PATH

The “Sharing the Bounty” celebration and charity dinner, originally scheduled for Thursday evening has been cancelled due to low ticket sales, however, the Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market is still providing meals to benefit the homeless. It’s transforming the event into a dinner for individuals and families participating in services at People Assisting the Homeless (PATH), a non-profit organization working to end homelessness for individuals, families and communities.

“Although it’s not the community dinner we originally planned for, the City of Beverly Hills, local chefs and farmers still wanted to “share the bounty” and assist the homeless. Local farmers are donating food, restaurants are preparing fresh meals and we’re honoring the 20thanniversary of the Farmers’ Market by serving dinner to homeless individuals at a local shelter,” commented Greta Dunlap, Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market Manager.

Meals from the Beverly Canon Gardens charity event will be served to more than 150 homeless people on Thursday, September 18. PATH is an integral part of the City’s social services and provides food and shelter to homeless individuals in Beverly Hills and throughout the Los Angeles area.

Refunds will be provided to all individuals who purchased tickets for Sharing the Bounty. To receive a refund, call (310) 285-6830. For more about the Beverly Hills’ Farmer’s Market visit www.BevelryHills.org/FarmersMarket.
