Beverly Hills Police Department Makes Arrests Following Armed Robbery

Beverly Hills, Calif. – On Monday, July 17, 2023, at approximately 6:41 pm, Beverly Hills Police officers responded to the 600 block of North Doheny Drive due to a report of an armed robbery. The victims were walking when confronted and forced at gunpoint to give their watches to the suspects. Prior to police arrival, the suspects drove away in a grey Chevrolet sedan. A license plate was obtained, and officers continued to search for the vehicle.

At approximately 8:41 pm, technology and resources used by the Real Time Watch Center (RTWC) located the suspect vehicle near Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way. Officers responded to the area, located the vehicle, and initiated a traffic stop nearby. The investigation led to the arrest of the four occupants and the recovery of two handguns and watches believed to be from the earlier robbery.

Arrested:

  1. Ziona Famoso – An 18-year-old female from Los Angeles, CA, Charged with 211 PC – Robbery and 182 PC – Criminal Conspiracy.
  2. Cameron White – An 18-year-old male from Los Angeles, CA, Charged with 211 PC – Robbery and 182 PC – Criminal Conspiracy.
  3. Ion Williams – A 19-year-old male from Los Angeles, CA, Charged with 211 PC – Robbery and 182 PC – Criminal Conspiracy.
  4. Juvenile – Male, 17-year-old

BHPD Detectives are actively following up on leads, and other crimes the suspects may have been involved in. The adult suspects’ bail has been set at $100,000. They are currently in custody at the Beverly Hills Police Department.  Their next court date is July 19, 2023, at the Airport Courthouse.
