The Margaret Herrick Library, managed and operated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, is a world-renowned, non-circulating reference and research collection devoted to the history and development of the motion picture as an art form and an industry.  

Established in 1928 and located in Beverly Hills at 333 N La Cienega Blvd, the Margaret Herrick Library is open to the public by appointment and used year-round by students, scholars, historians, and industry professionals.  You may book a Library appointment HERE.  The Library also offer tours to groups of 10-20 visitors on Wednesdays at 10 a.m.  If you have questions about booking an appointment or would like to request a Library tour, please email ref@oscars.org.
