Become a Beverly Hills Sustainable Living Program (SLP) Business participant.  The program offers three levels of recognition (Silver, Gold and Platinum) to help residents take the next step on the their suitability journey no matter where they start.

SLP LEVELS:

• Silver: Businesses recognized at the “Silver” level implement sustainable best practices that will help save money and resources.  In order to do so businesses must complete two criteria in each category of the three categories identified in the check list.
  
  
• Gold: Businesses recognize at the “Gold” level meet high environmental standards . In order to do so businesses must complete four criteria in each category of the three categories identified in the check list.
  
  
• Platinum: Businesses recognize at the “Gold” level are sustainable businesses in the community, setting an example for how businesses can operate with sustainability as a core practice.  In order to do so residents must complete six criteria in each category of the three categories identified in the check list.

Additional benefits come with all levels of recognition:

• Saving money - Businesses implement practices that lead to cost savings in energy, water, and garbage bills and going through the SLP is Free!
• Conserving valuable resources and protect the environment - Fight climate change by saving your valuable resources as well as the environment.
• Joining the growing Sustainable Living Community - The "sustainable scene" is bigger than ever, so don't miss your chance to gain recognition from the eco-conscious community. Additionally, receive public recognition, press coverage and official City Commendation by the City as a certified sustainable business
• Climate Goals- Help the City achieve its climate action and solid waste diversion goals
• Get Connected- To incentives, free technical assistance, expert audits, rebates, and educational resources
• SLP Logo– Proudly display the use of the SLP logo that identifies you as a SLP business participant.

This checklist was created to serve as a guide to help you get started on the path towards achieving the Sustainability Living Program recognition.  Please complete the application and corresponding checklist and submit to SLP@BeverlyHills.org .   Residents that qualify for Silver, Gold or Platinum tiers will be recognized at a City Council meeting.
