In an effort to curb the ongoing proliferation of feral cats and homeless pets, domestic cats over the age of four months may not be allowed outside in a public place, unsupervised, unless the cat is spayed or neutered.

If the animal is still lost, you may initiate a lost pet search by submitting an online form to the Los Angeles Animal Care Center.
