California Uniform Construction Public Cost Accounting Act (Informal Bidding Procedures)
The City of Beverly Hills has elected to participate with the State of California Uniform Construction Public Cost Accounting Act ("CUPCCAA"). These procedures provide for an alternative when the City performs public project work by contract.
CITY OF BEVERLY HILLS CUPCCAA INFORMAL BIDDERS LIST
WHAT IS CUPCCAA?
The California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act ("CUPCCA") provides for alternative bidding procedures when an agency performs public work by contract.
Public projects of $60,000 or less may be performed by the employees of a public agency by force account, by negotiated contract, or by purchase order.
Public projects of $200,000 or less may be let to contract by informal procedures set forth in the Act.
Public projects of more than $200,000 require formal bids.
HOW TO REGISTER?
All interested licensed contractors are invited to submit their company information for inclusion on the City's Informal Bidding Contractors List for each calendar year. Contractors must resubmit each year.
Additionally, pursuant to SB 854, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid or awarded a contract for a public works project unless registered with the Department of industrial Relations (DIR) per California Labor Code 1725.5.
The City's Informal Bidding Contractors List will be used to notify contractors of upcoming informal public project bids. You may apply at any time to the City's Informal Bidding Contractors List which is effective through each December 31st.
To be considered for the City of Lodi's Informal Bidding Contractors List, please complete the pre-qualification questionnaire and return by email to, Will Hamilton at whamilton@beverlyhills.org.
