Metro has additional resources available to businesses impacted by construction of the Purple (D Line) Extension. The Metro Business Interruption Fund (BIF) provides financial assistance to small “mom and pop” businesses directly adjacent to project construction. Metro also offers marketing and promotional opportunities to businesses impacted by construction through their Eat Shop Play program.
As part of the Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Beverly Hills and Metro, Metro is required to maintain an administrative claims process. Residents and businesses may file a claim for damage caused by the contractor during construction of the Purple (D Line) Extension by contacting Metro to complete a field report at firstname.lastname@example.org or via telephone at (213) 922-6934.
You will need to provide the following information: current address, telephone number, date and time of the incident, and a detailed narrative of the incident and any damages incurred. The field report must be completed by a team member of the Metro Purple (D Line) Extension at the email or phone number provided above.
Please contact Perla Berry with the City of Beverly Hills Project Team at (310) 288-2840 for assistance with submitting a claim to Metro.
Metro provides the City with monthly updates on the claims that were filed by residents and businesses.
