The purpose of North Portal project is to provide a station entrance/exit for the future Wilshire/Rodeo Station on the north side of Wilshire Blvd. The portal would provide subway riders with direct access to the businesses and tourist destinations north of Wilshire Blvd. On November 10, 2020, City Council certified the Final North Portal Environmental Impact Report, which includes responses to stakeholder comments, and selected the west side of N. Beverly Dr. as the location of the portal.
