Robertson Boulevard Sidewalk Improvement Project
Notice of Preparation: The purpose of the Notice of Preparation (NOP) is to notify recipients that the City is beginning the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The NOP contains a project description and a list of environmental issues to be assessed in the EIR. The NOP also solicits agency and interested party comments regarding the scope and content of the EIR.
Pursuant to Section 15082 of the CEQA Guidelines, the City has sent the NOP to the Office of Planning and Research and each responsible and trustee agency and has filed the NOP with the Los Angeles County Registrar/County Clerk. Additionally, the City has mailed a courtesy notice of the NOP to owners and occupants in the city of Beverly Hills within a 500-foot radius of the project site.
Following the completion of the NOP phase, the City will prepare the draft EIR. The EIR is an informational document intended to inform the public agency decisionmakers and the general public of the potentially significant environmental effects of the Project. The draft EIR will be circulated for a 45-day comment period.

Comments on the NOP were accepted starting December 20, 2023. Originally set to end on January 19, 2024, the NOP comment period was extended and ultimately closed on February 28, 2024.
